## How credits work

- You get a fixed credit pool every calendar month. Unused credits do not roll over.
- Accepted form submissions, email notifications, and WhatsApp messages (Pro/Agency) spend from the same pool.
- Webhooks cost 0 credits.
- At 80% and 100% usage you get warnings. At 0 credits, new submissions are rejected until you upgrade, buy credit packs when available, or the next monthly reset.
- Channels also stop when remaining credits cannot cover the next action.

Carrier rates differ by country. Each WhatsApp phone number is charged separately (up to 5 numbers per form).

## Billing, currency, and tax

- **Billing interval:** Monthly or annual. Annual is selected by default on the marketing site.
- **USD annual:** About 2 months free (Save 17% badge). Yearly total is 10 × monthly price.
- **INR annual:** Lower monthly rate billed yearly (Save 25% badge on the toggle; Starter annual is priced at ₹99/mo billed annually).
- **Currency display:** Timezone only. `Asia/Kolkata` / `Asia/Calcutta` → INR; everyone else → USD. No manual currency toggle. SSR first paint is USD.
- **Tax:** Paid plans show "+ taxes" only. No GST rate or exact tax amount on the page.
- **Credit packs:** Coming soon ($5 = 1,000 credits). Not live checkout on the marketing site yet.

## Doubt clarifications (FAQ)

### Is FormsReach free forever?

Yes within the Free plan limits. Free includes 500 credits every month with no credit card required. At zero credits, new submissions hard-stop until you upgrade, buy packs when available, or the next monthly reset.

### Does Free include WhatsApp?

No. Free and Starter include email, webhooks, and workflow rules. WhatsApp via the official Meta WhatsApp Business API is available on Pro and Agency.

### Do I need WhatsApp Business API knowledge?

No. On Pro or Agency, verify owner numbers with a one-time OTP in the dashboard. Delivery uses the official Meta WhatsApp Business API under the hood.

### Does my customer need WhatsApp to submit the form?

No. Visitors fill a normal website form. Only the form owner receives WhatsApp notifications when WhatsApp delivery is enabled.

### Why does WhatsApp cost more credits than email?

WhatsApp is billed by country at carrier rates. We map those rates into credit bands so pricing stays fair worldwide.

### Do credits roll over?

No. Unused included credits reset each calendar month.

### What happens when I run out of credits?

You get warnings at 80% and 100% usage. At 0 credits, new form submissions are rejected until you upgrade, buy more credits when available, or the next monthly reset. Channels also stop when remaining credits cannot cover the next action.

### Are webhooks free?

- **Pro:** WhatsApp unlocks here; best for most growing sites (Most popular).
- **Agency:** Higher volume across sites.

### I run an agency with many client sites. What should I use?

Agency ($29/mo or ₹1,299/mo, 18,000 credits/month) is the published high-volume plan. Multi-site dashboard and white-label tools are on the roadmap. Contact support@formsreach.com if you need custom terms now.

### How does FormsReach compare to email-only form backends?

Most form backends meter email submissions. FormsReach meters the full path (submission + email + WhatsApp on Pro/Agency) from one credit pool. Native WhatsApp via the official Meta API is the main differentiator.
